It is the official web site of B.A.R.S. KY4KY is the legally Federal Communications Commission licensed callsign of the Bullitt Amateur Radio Society. A cookie may be used as a function of the HAMweather software in the KY4KY.com Weather Center. If you specify a "My Weather" forecast, the setting is saved on your computer in a cookie. On your next visit, this cookie is read to show your selected forecast. Information in this cookie is used only by the program. It does not track your activity. Email addresses listed on KY4KY.com are for the sole purpose of club contact information and are not otherwise distributed. Beginning August 2007, KY4KY.com is taking additional precautions to protect your email against spammers. Scripts are being used to hide email adresses from automated web page scanners. Email addresses used for subscribing to the KY4KY.com Email List are stored on our server space in a database unavailable to the general public and used specifically by the software to distribute messages to subscribers. The List is free to all interested parties and requires opt-in verification from the subscriber to prevent random or unsolicited email (spam). The List is closely monitored to maintain an informational and family-friendly environment. KY4KY.com has no control over the privacy practices of sites outside KY4KY.com, critterbob.net and critterbob.com. A PayPal donation option has been established for the KY4KY Repeater Fund. Donations by this option are sent to the account of webmaster Bob Myers, K4RVM. When received, a check will be written and given to the B.A.R.S. Treasurer at the following regular monthly meeting. The donations are specifically for the repeater fund and will not be used for any other purpose. Donations made are governed and regulated through the financial services of PayPal. PayPal, in return for their services, will collect a percentage of the funds transferred. An additional percentage is taken for credit card donations. PayPal transactions are governed by PayPal - the payment process is neither part of nor the responsibility of KY4KY.com or B.A.R.S. First time PayPal users are encouraged to read PayPal's policies and privacy information.
Web space for KY4KY.com and purchase of the domain name KY4KY.com has been donated to B.A.R.S. by critterbob.com/critterbob.net and is hosted by Lunar Pages via critterbob.com/critterbob.net. The domain was purchased through GoDaddy.com. B.A.R.S. retains all rights to the contents of KY4KY.com and the domain name. An account has been established for KY4KY.com and all proprietary information has been provided to B.A.R.S. and is retained by the secretary, webmaster and, upon request, assistant webmasters. |
